Refund Policy

At MIR Associates, Inc., we are committed to providing high-quality interpretation and translation services. We value our clients and strive to ensure satisfaction with every service we deliver. However, due to the nature of our services, we have established the following refund policy that is typical to most of our services:

1. Interpretation Services

  • Cancellations with Notice:

Clients who cancel an interpretation assignment at 48 hours before the scheduled time will receive a full refund or a credit toward future services.

  • Late Cancellations:

Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the scheduled appointment will be subject to a cancellation fee of up to 100% of the service charge, depending on the notice period and the interpreter’s travel time or preparation.

  • No-Shows:

If the client fails to appear or is unavailable at the scheduled time without prior cancellation, no refund will be issued.

  • Interpreter No-Show:

If our interpreter fails to appear due to an error on our part, the client will receive a full refund or the option to reschedule at no additional cost.

2. Translation Services

  • Project Cancellation:

For written translation projects, refunds will be provided only if the cancellation is made before the project work has begun. If the project has already started, the client will be billed for the portion completed up to the cancellation time.

  • Quality Issues:

If a client is unsatisfied with the quality of the translation, we will review the issue and offer a revision or correction at no additional cost.

Refunds will only be considered after the revision process and if the service is still deemed unsatisfactory, at MIR Associates’ sole discretion.

  • Delivery Delays:

If a delay occurs due to our oversight, we will issue a partial or full refund, depending on the impact and agreed-upon timeline.

 

3. Non-Refundable Circumstances

  • Services that have been fully rendered.
  • Client dissatisfaction not based on objective or verifiable quality concerns.
  • Delays or issues resulting from incomplete or incorrect information provided by the client.


4. Refund Request Process

To request a refund, clients must contact us via email at info@mir-associates.com within 7 business days of the service date or delivery. Please include the service details and a brief explanation of the reason for the request.
